...And, end flashback. Naturally, the plothole is never fixed, because it is talked about again in the future. Which, as Dr. Light states, has irreparable repercussions on the comic. It's funny when you think about it, I meant it as a joke, but it was 100% true.

long time effects include, but are not limited to
- disrupment in time and space
- multiverse cloning
and I guess you can come up with more :P
