This is a rather morbid comic, but it does bring up an interesting point. What would you do if given the choice of seeing your own mangled corpse? If I had my head blown off like Sonic, I'd probably pass too. But if I was a robot who won't decompose, I'd be a little curious. But, Sonic is adventerous, and Mega Man is a little more likley to blow a fuse.

Zero is acting like he's done this before, then again, he probably had a chance to see his own corpse more than once with all the times he dies and comes back to life

If they are buried down there, then doesn't that break a law of physics, that nothing can be created or destroyed? The only explanation that I can think of is that there is an identical replica of Sonic and Mega Man, but made from antiparticles rather than the normal negativly charged partcles that we are made of.

Not actually... physics is safe
There has already been proved scientifically (for a really small fraction of a second, but was) that an object can be at the same time in two different places. No problem here, Thrack.
