Two things to be said about this comic. First off, I was trying to get everyone together, so I had to have Bass summon Treble. As for where Treble was before this, I don't know, it was wherever he hangs out when Bass goes on an adventure and leave Treble behind. Secondly, despite the fact that Roll was unable to slow Bass down, I still needed the Two Evil Scientists to escape. Sometimes a single joke can go against a planned storyline, but there's always another joke to fix it. All I had to do was pick the most headstrong of the group of heroes, and had him attack. Problem solved.

Got to love running gags. Keep the audiance amused and acts as a plot devise for what ever reason.
