And this is a major turning point in the comic. Up until now, everything has been going the Two Evil Scientists way. But, as they mentioned in the first comic, in the end everything will blow up in their faces. I could have done a comic in which the bad guys keep winning, but that would just mean that I'd have to reverse the roles and it would always be about overcoming the heroes, and that joke would wear out pretty fast.

I just love how Bass stands there quietly waiting for them to finish patting themselves on their backs, then drops the bomb
