How did Robotnik know where Shadow was? Umm... He used his emerald radar to locate the Chaos Emerald that Shadow was carrying. Yeah, we'll go with that. I didn't actually think beyond that fact that Robotnik could somehow locate Shadow. That way Bass and Shadow could fight each other, and the story could progress.

That's the purple stripe that Bass has under his eye in his promotional art. I don't know why they left it out of his sprites, but I added it myself.

Oh, you added it yourself? I thought you used the sheet... (I found a spritesheet of Bass with that, as well as other minor additions too.)
I think thay took it out though, was 'cause of the color limitation.. Probily... maybe...
