This comic is something of an attempt to sidestep what could easily be done as and "I hate time travel" joke. In this case I'm not actually attempting to make fun of the confusion of time travel, I'm actually trying to use it to right a wrong I made long ago in this comic. When I originally included Zero in this comic, long before the release of Sonic Rush or Rivals, I purposely made him act out of character in order to make him the somewhat wacky resident of limbo who has no problems disturbing the natural order of things for simple monetary gain. Rather than allow that to carry over into this storyline, I decided to essentially "reset" Zero in order to make him more in line with the video game representation of his character. Ergo, this character can't cheat death, at least not in the way Zero did before anyway. Exactly how this came to be, I will leave up to your imagination for now, but the hows and the whys really aren't all that important at this juncture.

First. (wow that was out of character)

You turn your back for five seconds...

The Limbo Joke flew twice in this comic... Can't go wrong with the classics, even if they're corny.

Personally, I think it;'d make much more sense if Zero doesn't remember them because he lost his memory during his stasis between the Elf Wars and MMZ1. But you're the author.

I didn't mind how the GBA ones looked. Look at Flamezero's 'The Last Cataclysm' movies, which use them well. The main problem is that you make Zero way too flippin' big. Megaman is taller than Sonic, but not by that much. And then there is the 'no clear outline' problem.

As long as you explain it eventually, I don't care.

Sonic's about 3.3ft, Rock's about 4.25ft, X is about 5ft, Zero is 6ft tall, don't ask me where I found all that stuff. But there ya go, Zero's not TOO tall, he's naturally tall (gotta be tall with all that hair)

My Theory
The Zero they met was from when he died in MMZ4, and the one they met now was from MMZ3 and 4

They could probably take the mick out of him for wearing a thong.

heh, eager to fight pair aren't they? That's one of the reasons why Blaze is my favorite of the newer Sonic Characters.

What I think is that this the Zero from the games probably after MMZ3 in an unchanged timeline becouse of Wiel being from the same time.

@ Edit Master:
When they first met Zero, he was changing from early Megaman X sprites to MMZ sprites, and even said that he wasn't dead when he was in Limbo, just stopping in "for a change of clothes."

Then it must be when he was killed and transferred into a copy body, thus creating the bridge from Megaman X to Megaman Zero.

He wasn't even killed! He put himself in a suspended stasis to purge himself of the Mavrick Virus! Weil transfered him from his true body to a fake one!

Edit Master
Zero wasn't killed before the copy body. His body was stolen while it was being analysed by one of Ciels ancestors.

Also Zero never officialy died in Zero4, he's officially listed as MiA, Missing in Action. Infact the Rockman/Megaman Zero Complete Works, SPECIFICALLY says his fate is unknown. (and the BioMetal was BASED on Zero, not made from him like the Weil one was).

it's pretty obvious Zero died. How could you survive being in full brunt of Ragnarock's fall
