Whether or not he turns evil all depends on if you accept Maverick Hunter X as canon. Which, according to Kenjiu Inafune, you are supposed too, but he said that before deciding not to remake the other games, and Maverick Hunter X clashes with the later games fairly badly.

Actually, in the Manga, Sigma thought Humans were inferior, that's why he turned Maverick. But in the games, he turned Maverick because Zero struck a blow at him and turned him into a Maverick. If this is based on the games, Sigma ain't gonna turn Maverick, because Sigma wasn't hurt by Zero. If it's based on the Manga, they're so screwed.

Actually in the game Sigma is infected when HE hits Zero's forehead jewel while it has a glowing W on it. So he isn't infected, but whether he turns evil, or whether this time travel will actually affect the timelines isn't yet clear. Ryan could pull a 'this time machine can reset the timelines so only the traveller remembers his journey but everything is back to the way it was before' sorta thing... if he wants to be a jackass :P

True. But Sigma didn't defeat Zero in this comic. Sonic did. And he just destroy his head before Sigma got there. So, like my previous post, if it's based on the games, Sigma ain't gonna turn Maverick. If it's based on the Manga, they're screw. (X and Sonic)

Ah, the Bob and George "Villain-with-a-Hero-Standing-Behind-Him-as-he- Recites-his-Evil-Plans" technique.

This is more than a Bob and George joke, its a cliche going back as far as there have been cartoons. Amazing it still works after all this time.

I did this too in MMS

Actually, it could just be that this is an alternate, possible future, so what happens here doesn't neccessarily affect the normal flow of time.
