What better way to gain someones trust, than to discredit those who would discredit you.

Knowing Blaze, and knowing how polite and forthcoming Nega is, Blaze would rather trust the guy who attack her as soon as she asked a simple question rather than the obviously evil looking mad scientist who just GIVES them to her.

But Blaze is smarter than Zero. Zero has more experience and indeed has a higher I.Q. (only because most AI's have higher intellect due to programming) but Blaze is not just a fighter so she has more fields.

Posted by BattleStarX on Mon Dec 27th 2010 at 12:10am
I'd trust Zero over this guy any day, even if his maverick program is still buried deep down and I have know idea when he'd freak out and kills us all.

Posted by kaijinzero on Mon Dec 27th 2010 at 12:28am
same here, and not just becuse of obvious reasons

Posted by redjirachireturns on Mon Dec 27th 2010 at 12:32am
I'd trust even Sigma over this guy.Sure he's trying to kill all humans, but at least he's not sadistic

Really,Weil is the evillest character of both the Megaman and Sonic universes(the gameverse, though his cruelty rivals that of SaTAM Robotnik).Unlike Wily and Eggman/the Nocturnus/Erazor Dijin who just wants to rule the world,or Sigma/Black Doom/arguably Virus Wily who wants to kill off mankind,Weil isn't like that

No,he wants to make Earth into even more of a wasteland and rule eternally so his subjects live a fate worse than death!

And the reasoning he uses for this falls flat on its face-because they made him walk the barren wastelands that he himself caused when he wiped out most sentient life on the planet.Even worse, the very seeds that set that in motion was attempting to wipe out/enslave reploidkind.

The only possible way this guy could get even the faintest iota of sympathy is if the Maverick Wars screwed his perception up.Although its far more likely this man was born a sociopath and made his way up to complete monster

And yet, somehow, the hatred that one should feel for him loops back into intrest and enjoyment. We both love to see his irredeemable actions and want him dead for them.An intresting dichotimy

I trust Zero

Posted by Lord of 'Sho (Guest) on Mon Dec 27th 2010 at 1:37am
It seems Weil is going to spam every trick in the book to get Blaze to doubt who her alliances are with.

As well, Zero may be less willing to give over his Emerald, but consider the where and who's of the situation Blaze is in.
For all intents and purposes, Weil still has those two Emeralds in the back of his pocket.

On a side note, there seems to be a missing "s" in the phrase "trust robot", panel 2, at the moment. Or a missing "a" (trust robot"s"; trust "a" robot. *shrug* Hard to tell, since either works grammaticaly).

@redjirachi: then you obvoiusly don't count mephiles.

not only was he a calculating bastard, but he didn't care how much pain he caused, doing it for the enjoyment, really.

let's also not forget that he actually KILLED sonic (sure he came back to life, but he died, never the less).

he also had a dark plan, too. did he want to enslave the planet under his rule? no. did he want to do something for revenge? no. did he want to cause eternal pain & suffering to a certain person's life. well, yeah, but that wasn't his main goal.

he wanted to wipe all existence from creation. why? because he felt like it. and he didn't give a damn on who he had to manipulate to achieve his goal."Complete Monster" indeed.

^In the form of one of the most badass characters in the series

If she trusts Sonic, then she should trust Zero as well, don't you think?

Posted by Angel85 on Mon Dec 27th 2010 at 12:55pm
beware the smooth talkers, a guy who can't immediately get on your good side is obviously being honest with you.

List of top 5 evil geniuses.

5. Davros.
4. Makuta Teridax.
3. Weil.
2. Mephiles.
1. The Master.

Posted by Awseomness on Mon Dec 27th 2010 at 4:34pm
Makuta was a genius? I always figured he had enough time for planning, but even Takua could've come up with a plan like his given that ammount of time.

Posted by AuraX (Guest) on Mon Dec 27th 2010 at 4:51pm
Well, basically, all his defeats were either planned by him or staged. And he had been planning his final... well, plan, since his defeat in Metru-Nui.

So I'm not the only one who thinks Mephilis was awesome. Too bad he was in such a mess of a game.

Posted by BattleStarX on Mon Dec 27th 2010 at 10:46pm
@ Kris the Demon
That may be the reason why nobody thinks he was so awesome. A bad game can ruin a good character.

@Kris the demon
Well, as you can see from my list, he's actually one of my all-time favourite villains, and I'm sure many others think the same way.

But seriously, the only things good about '06 were the music, and introducing mephiles and silver.

Posted by Kris the Demon on Tue Dec 28th 2010 at 7:04am
Maybe not one of my favourite villains but Mephilies is one of my favourite Sonic characters to be introduced since Adventure.

Not a big fan of Silver though. I don't hate the character it's just he continues to appear in consistently terrible games (Next Gen, Rivals, Black Knight etc) and I find him kind of bland. Hopefully with the overhaul Sega seem to be doing on the series (new writers, new voice actors etc), they may actually improve the character.

Posted by AuraX (Guest) on Tue Dec 28th 2010 at 12:07pm
Unfortunately, I think I heard somewhere that silver isn't going to be involved in games anymore or something like that.

There's always hope with the archie comics, though!

Posted by Atomic dragon on Tue Dec 28th 2010 at 2:30pm
That wont happen. Sure people do not like Silver much(again thank you '06) but he will still be used. Sega and TeamSonic have reused every character they released. I mean they only had Team Chaotic in a few games but they will use them every now and then. The only one I can think of that is not used in games any more is Mighty.
They reused Blaze, Silver, METAL, Omega and pretty sure they'll use Emerl again. They will reuse every character they ever made. They will not drop Silver. He is basically on the same level as Sonic and Shadow so he wont be dropped

@Atomic dragon
You forgot about Nack/Fang.

Then again who remembers any of the games with him in?

Posted by AuraX (Guest) on Tue Dec 28th 2010 at 4:52pm
Don't forget bean, bark, and ray.

And how many returning characters did they use in sonic colours? Only sonic, Eggman, tails and, for some bizzare reason, orbot.

Posted by Kris the Demon on Tue Dec 28th 2010 at 6:19pm
Well I think they were trying to go back to basics with Colours. I think it worked well for it.

Also I kind of liked Orbot...

Posted by redjirachireturns on Thu Dec 30th 2010 at 12:00am
@StarMario777 & ChaosSonic777:Actually,I forgot. But remember-While Mephiles was just as sadistic and calculating as Weil,if he sucseeded in his goal everyone in the universe would die.

Weil was going to make Hell on Earth, essentially. If he sucseeded, the world would be downtrodden to the point people wished Mephiles would come along and end their lives.

Mephiles wanted death to everyone for his enjoyment.Weil wants Hell on Earth for his enjoyment. So we've got death versus a fate worse than death.Yeah,I think Weil beats Mephiles in sheer evil

Posted by AuraX (Guest) on Thu Dec 30th 2010 at 2:42pm
It's actually fate worse than death versus all of time controlled by a psycotic sun god.

Posted by redjirachireturns on Fri Dec 31st 2010 at 8:17pm
Eggman said that Solaris would consume all timelines and time itself before turning into nothingness. So its a fate worse than death vs all of time being eaten by a psychotic sun god
