A little less entertaining.

Only a little?

it's a cliche because it's kind of logical, I mean, if the only guy who'd thwart your plan instead helps then there are no obstacles right?

Originality is over-rated anyways.

As long as theirs still insanity, the universe would continue to function. Of course, I think some of the cliches come about BECAUSE of insanity.

@Angel85:Depends. If the villian manages to recruit the hero (willingly) to do his work, other hero's may do their best to stop said hero to stop the villian.

Weils the manipulative type, so he's probably trying to play multiple sides. He's playing Nega, he's playing Eggman, he's playing the heros,...

Heck, I wouldn't be surprised if he's playing himself.

Also, Weil:"I don't hear a no..."

Correction. Originality is over-rated on the internet.

Clichés keep TV Tropes up and running.

@Ryan: It'd be sane, non-violent, less random world. To put it short: a world without cliches is a boring world.

@Battlestarx from last page
I have quite a lot of sonic screwdrivers, actually. and a few modulators.

"Cliche'" is a word that only means overused, not bad or boring or even necessarily unoriginal.
It's just something that doesn't have the potency of being unexpected or different.
