Well, Mega Man finally established a link, just not the one he was expecting. Turns out when the Gizoid was talking about "downloading" it was referring to Mega Man, not itself. Some of you may also notice that the Gizoid's last line is an edited version of the one it said in Prof. Gerald's diary.

I believe this is what is called in some circles as an "OH SNAP!!!" moment.

well, its not like we're dealing with organic beings here.
they are both AIs. its possible.
im just a little curious as to how their programming is compatable enough to do that.

What will happen?

congrats rock, you're a maverick now.

Seems like Mega Man should be in control of the Gizoid, not the other way around. If it's going to take control of things then why not also take control of the commander? (Of course, the human brain is a completly diffrent system, but it might have a wireless connection, like though brain waves or something. Although reprogramming it could take a while though a wireless link.)

this will create a correpted software loopback which will cause them both to stop functioning ~~

he shot a blast of Chaos Energy... shouldn't that pierce the Ark's hull?

Posted by ComicMakerEx on Mon Jan 22nd 2007 at 1:58pm
then wouldn't it be uploading?

Posted by blue_paladin42 (Guest) on Mon Jan 22nd 2007 at 2:06pm
That editing programing bit. I think your on to something Jeshi-kun. After all, megaman did say killing the commander wasn't the plan, and has no idea why he did it. Mabye the Gizoid no longer wanted to be under the commanders control.

Personally, I think it's more a "D'oh!" moment. I actually used that phrase before when describing the story of Frankenstein.

Congrats Rock , you broke a law and you are a robot slave weapon for a robot.(think a non-willing Haku robot)

Dark Chaos: I think it was an explosive shot, for one, so it's stop on first impact. Also, the cannon is pretty deep in the center of the ARK.

Comic: ...This.. This is WAY too soon for april fools day.

This whole plotline a dream?

Non-canon bullshit?!?

Posted by Thrack on Mon Jan 22nd 2007 at 9:32pm
It looks like the shoot just went by, there wasn't an explosion or anything. And using all seven chaos emeralds gives that shot a lot of energy, so if you're saying that all the walls would have dissapaited the blast, it might have just got though anyway.

Those chaos emeralds should be used as a power plant, not weapons, that would solve a lot of problems. (Other than keeping people from stealing them.)

uh oh Timm-- i mean, Megaman!

can't sign in
Thrack, they are used as power plants. The Death Egg used them (or at least the MAster Emerald in the end) as the power of it's power generation facilities... The Death Egg just happened to be loaded with weapons that needed power.
