New Message Board Plus a Complete Cast Page!
Well I was beginning to think I'd never see the day, but I've finally completed the cast page, including all those important characters who I left out before.

New Sprites... Again
If you're not already aware of Roll's new sprites (not the ones mentioned in the last news post) then you'll find out soon enough. Actually, the ones I'm talking about are the combined forms from previous comics. For the past little while, I've been tweaking some of them, while completely overhauling others. If you're interested, go check them out, if not then disregard this post.

No More Mega Girl
Have I got your attention? Good! Now just so you know, I'm not talking about her own comic, which will still update as usual. I'm only talking about Mega Girl in Two Evil Scientists.
Basically, I was going through the archives the other day updating Roll's sprites as well as other small things, most of which no one is that likely to notice anyways. As I was updating her sprites though, I realized she spent most of her time in her "Mega Girl uniform", despite the fact that almost everyone still called her Roll (she was only referred to as Mega Girl twice to be exact). I had my reasons for the constant use of her real name, but I got to thinking about how much she really added to the comic. In all honesty, I started to think that it almost detracted from the comic; since Roll moved into the realm of "fan character" while almost every other character is an official character from the video games, though I realize that there are a few exceptions.
In fact, the only real reason that I brought "Mega Girl" into this comic was not actually cross-promotion of her original comic, but rather the fact that I wanted Roll to take a more active role in the comic. At the time, I only had the original twelve sprites of Roll from MM7 (most of which were just her hair blowing in the wind), and her annoyingly wide sprites from the arcade games. Unfortunately, I am not anywhere near a talented enough spriter to make the sprites I needed using those as a base, so I turned to my Mega Girl sprites that were far easier to make. But thanks to NachoMan pointing me in the direction of Spritesheet by Maverick PK, Kailieann, Malevia, Ran, Tengu Maul, Maneko, Oppollo, Kiruka, and Umiliphus, I now have all the Roll sprites I need.
So how do I justify such a radical change so far into the comic? Simple, I don't look at it as such a drastic change. I mean really, I already established that Roll has a buster and that she has super strength. All the uniform is basically added protection, and since she's only been shot in the face so far, it's hardly done her any good. In most cases, I really just changed her clothes, not her character.
However, I will admit, that there were a couple of comics that needed a slightly more drastic change in order to get this to work. For those of you who don't want to use this as an excuse to read through the entire archive, they are:

I realize that some people will not like these changes, but I know that there are some people who will. In the end though, I'm the one who makes the call, and this is the way I think the comic should be. I apologize for any confusion or grievances this may cause, but I do think the comic will be better for it. And if you really do like Mega Girl, don't worry about it, she's got her on friggin comic, do you really need more?

No Cast Update
With Christmas coming up, I find myself a tad bit busier than normal, so I've decided to put the Cast section on pause for the next little while. I may make the occasional update every now and again; I'm just not going to make myself feel obligated to do it.

Vile and Metal Knuckles Now up in the Cast Section
And as a side note, I have eluded to the fact that this is the same Metal Knuckles from Sonic Advance, hence all the work Heavy and Bomb put into him. Just in case you were wondering.
